Additional Evaluation Notes

Students who are requesting a placement outside their facility must complete the Electronic Student Permit Checking with Verified to be eligible for the field placement component of this program.
Students cannot commence practicum without being assigned a faculty advisor by the placement officer.
Students have three months from their first clinical shift to complete the required 120 hours (10 shifts). If an extension is required please contact the program coordinator and placement officer.
Evaluation is based on preceptor/mentor feedback and the student's ability to meet all core competencies and demonstrate the same through the mid-term and final self-evaluation and reflective scholarly paper.
The expectation is that all submissions are submitted within 48 hours after each shift.
